RULES
Introduction
American International Music And Art Association established the AIMA International Composition Award in order to inspire younger generations all over the world to contribute to the creation of new musical compositions.
Music has the ability to leave people with the widest and most free space for imagination and creation. It can convey great emotion in just a few powerful notes. There is, perhaps, no greater expression of the human spirit. For this reason, The AIMA International Composition Award honors those who bring imagination and inspiration into the world.
Entry Requirements
AIMA International Composition Award offers an international prize in recognition of achievement by composer in a musical genre: Chorus, Vocal Solo, Pop music, Electronic, Orchestra and Chamber music, Instrumental Solo, Percussion music and more.
a.Musical works including, but not limited to, Chorus, Vocal Solo, Pop music,Electronic, Orchestra and Chamber music, Instrumental Solo, Percussion music and more.
b.There are no restrictions with regard to compositional style.
c.The works must be created by oneself and enjoy originality and complete copyright.
d.Each participant is limited to submitting one work. The entries must have not been publicly performed or published.
e.The piece should be within ten minutes in length.
Application Deadline
All application materials must be submitted online before July 30, 2024. The winners will be announced on August 30, 2024.
Competition Category
Category I 25 years old and below (Born after July 30th, 1999)
Category II 25 years old and above (Born before July 30th, 1999)
Application Materials And Procedure
a.Provide a complete score, upload only the following file types: PDF. the score should not include the composer's name or any irrelevant markings; The score must display the song name and indicate the duration of the song's performance. b.Provide one electronic recording of the complete work, upload only the following file types: MP3.

d.Pay the application fee

Award Settings
The AIMA International Composition Award is accompanied by a prize of $1,000
A panel of professional composers and performers will evaluate all applications, selecting winners who holds the highest potential composers.
Prize settings as below:
The grand prize will be awarded to players with at least 95 /100points
The first prize will be awarded to players with at least 90 / 100 points
The second prize will be awarded to players with at least 85 / 100 points
The third prize will be awarded to players with at least 80 / 100 points
The honorable mention will be awarded to players with at least 70 / 100 points.
Winners from the grand prize will share the prize of $1,000
The jury has the right to decide on the final outcome of the competition. If the work does not meet the standards or benchmarks specified in the competition, the jury has the right to decide to leave the ranking blank, and participants shall not object.
Others
a.Contestants must ensure the originality of their works and the absence of copyright disputes. In case of any infringement, the contestants shall bear legal responsibility on their own.
b.It is the responsibility of each contestants to abide by the competition regulations. Contestants are deemed to agree to all the contents of this regulation and promise to comply.
